Kayu Mama Resort And Spa Uluwatu , Uluwatu (Bali)

I had a pretty nice stay overall, but there were some drawbacks. The location is fantastic—it's quiet and green yet close to Uluwatu's hottest spots. However, I felt the villa I stayed in could use some updates and cleaning. For the price, I expected a bit more from the accommodations.

I had some mixed feelings about my stay. On one hand, the location is pretty good, offering a peaceful retreat close to Uluwatu's attractions. However, I faced a genuinely terrifying experience with a Rottweiler that belonged to the hotel owner, which left me feeling unsafe. Overall, while the restaurant had a great vibe, the experience was marred by the incident with the dog.

My stay at Kayu Mama Resort and Spa was quite enjoyable, particularly because of the beautiful surroundings and the excellent quality of the food at the restaurant. However, I did find the need to request clean towels during my five-night stay a bit disappointing.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always there when I needed assistance but also respecting my privacy. However, there was a scary incident involving the hotel owner's dog that made part of my stay uncomfortable.
